Japanese Women in Traditional Clothing
You still see kimonos around Japan, but only the old obaasans ("grandmothers" -- more like great-grandmothers, now) wear them on a day-to-day basis. The younger women put them on for special occasions like graduations and weddings.
By the way, the eighth card is actually a woman in a style of traditional Chinese garb, but I really didn't have any other category where I could put her.
(And check out the "Japanese Marilyn" in the thirteenth card.)
